Position Title: Truck DriverPosition Type: Temporary - Full-TimePosition Location: McCain FarmsRequisition ID: 9626Position: Truck DriversLocation: Monquart, NBMcCain Farms, a division of McCain Produce Inc, is looking for temporary part time Truck Drivers to assist in the harvest season (approximately mid-September through mid-October).DUTIES:Driving straight trucks and/or tractor trailers for potato harvestResponsible for following all safety requirements.Trouble shoot, adjust and maintain equipment as required.Relay information to other Team membersWorking in a fast-paced team environmentParticipate in Team meetings, as required.All additional duties as they become assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Grade 12 education or GEDRequired Class 1 and/or Class 3 driver’s licenseMust be willing to work evenings and weekendsAbility to work well with supervision and other employeesTeam player with excellent attendanceHighly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.Good verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate “safety first’’ on a continual basis.McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
