Consideration may be given to a career-focused individual possessing a high school diploma/GED, proven technical aptitude, and committed to pursuing journeyperson certification and/or studies in environmental sciences.Prior experience in wastewater treatment operations, process line operations and/or lab analysis would be considered an assetPossess excellent mathematical and computer skillsAbility to work with minimal supervision in a small team environmentPossess strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to accept and embrace change in a fast-paced environmentSuccessful completion of a 90 day training periodRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Responsible for Waste Water Treatment Plant laboratory schedule, samples and analysisMonitor and Operate the facility in a safe and efficient mannerPrepare reports for third party consultants and help maintain compliance with provincial and federal regulationsEnsure paperwork is completed accurately and neatlyTake and record readings from instruments and collect samplesAnalyze and interpret readings and make any necessary adjustments to equipmentWork effectively with production and maintenance supervisionCommunicate all emergency and urgent repair problems to supervisionParticipate in team meetings as requiredParticipate in McCain’s annual Performance Excellence Program (PEP) training and evaluation processMaintain an excellent attendance recordPerform all other duties as they ariseIf you wish to be considered for the above vacancy, please apply online on theMcCaintranet/Careers section by May 21st, 2021McCain Foods (Canada)McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
