Job Description

OVERVIEWThe Administrator is responsible for maintaining accounts with customers and suppliers throughout the year. In this role you will also be responsible for preparing simple sales reports, assisting in inventory management, and providing high quality customer service when interacting with clients.JOB DUTIES

  • Receiving inventory into computerized system for both Foam Lake and Invermay Locations
  • Pay suppliers in a timely fashion
  • Manage inventory, track sales, and help sales team with rebate calculators
  • Customer billing and account management including bank accounts and operating loans
  • Creating simple sales reports for management and sales team to track margin
  • Work with sales team to conduct accurate inventory counts periodically to maintain accuracy and make inventory adjustments when needed in a timely fashion
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of all accounts for the business
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to managements as requested
  • Create and track a monthly budget.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Administrative or Business training is an asset but not required
  • Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
  • Proven strong time management, planning and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills, both written and oral
  • Strong computer skills including all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) is an asset
  • Able to work independently or as part of an effective team
  • Conducts themselves in a professional manner, and able to keep information confidential
  • Proven knowledge of sales principles and practices
  • Ability to provide a strong focus on customer service and follow through
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Hours of work are normally Monday- Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm with the possibility of overtime hours during the busy season.
  • Operate a computer for extended periods of time
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, staff members, and team associates
  • Able to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
