Position: HVAC Technician -Kearl IOL Maintenance 14/14Project Type: MaintenanceProject Location: KEARL IOLShift: Day or NightSchedule: 14/14Accommodations: CampTravel Details: Flights to and from siteRate: $56.87/ HRGC: GrahamAllied Partner: Heartland Constructors Inc.Reference Number: 24308Jardeg is recruiting HVAC Technician Journeypersons for a position at the Imperial Oil Kearl site in Fort MacKay, Alberta. Charter flights are provided from Calgary/Edmonton to site! Shift schedules will be on a 14/14 rotation, 12 hours per day. While working on site, workers will be staying at the Wapasu camp which will provide hot meals, lodging, workout facility, Wi-Fi, commissary and much more! We also have new HIGHER rates for all craft workers!Refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics install, maintain, repair and overhaul industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems and their component parts.HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance work involving checking all parts of a system, lubricating moving parts and monitoring the refrigerant charge.
  • Diagnosing and fixing unit problems by replacing or repairing controls, electric wiring or other parts.
  • Repairing heating equipment, troubleshoot gas-fired equipment and calibrate all gas-related controls.
  • Responsible for delivery of excellent customer service and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Provincial Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification.
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Protection.
  • Energy Safety Canada Confined Space Entry and Monitor
  • HVAC diagnostic experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, in addition to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience using testing equipment.
  • Experience with startups of new or adjusted.
  • Driver #39;s License and a clean 3 Year Driver #39;s Abstract.
  • Fit Test.
