Job Duties

• Operate service truck in remote or customer worksites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain OEM class 6,7, and 8 vehicles in the field
• Test systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults.
• Ensure professional quality detail and craftsmanship. Maintain efficient and accurate workmanship in a safe and professional environment.
• Implement workflow procedures and continuous improvement initiatives for the department.

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years #39; experience.
• Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician or Commercial Transport (Truck and Transport Mechanic).
• Heavy Truck and Trailer subject matter expert.
• Initiative-taker able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment.
• Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
• Must have own tools (required tool list will be provided).
• Experience in time management.
• Class 5 driver #39;s license.
• Class 1, Class 3, and MVI Certifications are a bonus.
