We work across regions, cultures, roles, and disciplines and our people are definitely Cotecna’s greatest asset.Today our trusted network of professionals and certified laboratories apply industry approved standards and provide proven expertise to help clients across four key sectors: Agriculture, Food Safety, Government and Trade Solutions, Minerals and Metals and Comsumer Goods.We strive to be recognized as the most reliable, agile, entrepreneur, and customer-focused provider of testing, inspection, and certification services in our markets.Join our exciting journey and contribute to our growth and success!Our company Cotecna Canada team is looking to recruit a Full-Time Sampler/Prep to join our team.MISSIONThe mission of the Commercial Operations department is to continually develop existing and cultivate new clientele to align with the Objectives of the Company.Through guidance provided by Management, and in a safe, legal and ethical manner, the Full-Time Sampler/Prep provides effective and competent support to the graders/inspectors and performs his / her duties to support testing and inspection for the Company and its clients and to maintain associated records, thus supporting the goal of providing a service to the clients that is accurate, timely and cost effectiveThe Full-Time sample/prep will carry out the responsibilities detailed within, relating to the day to day operations of the Commercial Division and all others which may be assigned, in a manner demonstrating support for and adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System, the Company’s Policy and Procedures, including Vision and Strategy, and to exercise good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Performs as required routine sampling duties such as sampling grain or products on site, sample preparation ( eg cleaning the samples, preparing samples for lab testing, and grinding and glassware cleaning under the direction of coordinators and/or management.
• Assists in identifying and recording any problems relating to the product, process, and management system.
• Maintains records in conformance with local procedures.
• Manages Inventory of equipment and consumables.
• Performs Administrative Assistant duties as required.
• Shows good organizational and time management skills with a high tolerance for job pressures and an ability to work and communicate with persons of diverse personalities and backgrounds Performs related duties as required.
• Be organized with time management skills and have a high tolerance for job pressure.
• To carry out the above responsibilities, and all others which may be assigned, in a manner demonstrating support for and adherence to the Company’s Quality Management System, and to exercise good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy in so doing.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent in years experience.
• Should have a valid driver license.
• Should have a reliable vehicle.
• Strong written and communication skills and organizational. skills are required.
• Ability to perform various administrative duties.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to promote a compassionate, caring, customer service-oriented culture by operating in a professional and collaborative fashion.
