Job Description

  • Must be able to coordinate the movement of heavy equipment.
  • Must be able to coordinate sourcing, planningamp; dispatching with internal resources or with 3rd parties.
  • Hours: 7:00AM - 4:30PM with overtime as required.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. (on-call rotation)
  • Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
  • Sourcing, planningamp; dispatching with internal resources or with 3rd parties
  • Executing all the associated documentation and updating relevant parties for real time tracking and proper administration
  • Maintaining a high volume of phone calls, emails, and messages in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Follow-up on ongoing orders
  • Working closely with commercial carrier compliance team
  • Working with multiple internal company departments as part of coordination and administration
Experience and Certification Requirements:
  • Experience with POs, BOLs, equipment tracking software
  • Experience with logistics
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations such as hours of service, permitting, over dimensions, truck and trailer combinations, inter-provincial travel
  • Time management and problem solving skills
  • Microsoft office skills
  • Fast paced environment
  • Cross-functional environment with the drive to assist others and the drive to be a self starter
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of heavy and small equipment in the construction industry is a definite asset
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Proficient English language skills required.
