Job Description

Modular/Housing Project ManagerAt Golderado, were constantly pushing the limits of what weve done in the past - propelling ourselves toward bigger and better opportunities, while exploring new market sectors and services.   • Hours: Based on a 44-hour work week. Overtime is required during the busy season (April - October).

  • Direct the overall construction program of the
  • Assist in the estimating and planning process.
  • Participate in and business development activities to the department.
  • Provide leadership to promote maximum productivity.
  • Maintain accountability for field costs and forecast costs to complete; and implement cost control procedures within the Project Execution Plan.
  • Recommend the award of construction contracts based on the analysis of the estimating department. Negotiate contractual terms with the selected contractor(s); and administer contracts efficiently to maximize contractor performance and minimize exposure to claims and extras.
  • Incorporate procedures so that required information (such as forecast costs and progress data) flows effectively within the project group, to senior company managers, and to our clients.
  • Coordinate with municipal authorities as required for public relations, permits and construction interfaces.
  • Review, with the Accounting, all construction contractors invoices for physical percent complete or units of work complete and approve as appropriate.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
  • Strong background in modular and rapid housing development.
  • Software is heavily used within the organization processes; the candidate must have strong.
  • computer skills and have a history of working within software programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel) and Proprietary Software.
  • Able to mentor Field Crews and Project Admin/Coordinators.
  • Great people skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills
