Job Description

Job DescriptionLabourer is to assist the Operator in the completion of a pile installation project from beginning to end. This position reports directly to the Operator to assure standards of safety and quality are consistently. The job duties include:

  • Operate various skidsteers to unload, organize and layout helical screw piles and other tools and materials
  • Assist the skid steer operator with the installation of helical screw piles to ensure compliance with pile location
  • Care for and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and skid steers
  • Participate in ongoing hazard assessments, daily toolbox meetings and complete safety documentation and paperwork as per company policy
  • Complete general site housekeeping duties
  • Some heavy lifting is required
Requirements
  • Experience rigging and changing auger attachments
  • Experience strapping down loads and machinery
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Class 5 license is an asset
  • Standard First Aid is consider an asset
