Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the role of Front Desk Manager will be the ambassador of guest satisfaction, which involves being actively engaged in day to day front desk operations, ensuring all procedures are followed.

Duties:
  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service.
  • Assists in welcoming guests upon arrival, obtains valid methods of payment and provides the guest with information on hotel amenities.
  • Provide courteous and efficient telephone services including accurate message taking, delivering and tracking messages, guest mail, packages and other items as requested.
  • Supports up-sell and perfect fill strategies while maintaining integrity.
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding rates, special packages, and general information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Create reservations via telephone, central/global reservations, correspondence and in person
  • Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and co-workers by maintaining a knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures
  • Support in ensuring Hilton Honors rewards program is promoted, encouraging memberships and follow through on delivery of benefits.
  • Ensure inter-departmental communication and cooperation in the interest of better guest satisfaction
  • Other projects/duties as assigned and required.
  • Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills
  • Excellent guest, customer and employee relations skills
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Strong computeramp; telephone abilities
Working Conditions:
  • Standing, moving, bending
  • Evening, weekends, nights and holiday hours as required
Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of hotel experience in a management role or 2 years in hotel supervisory role
  • Valid drivers license
