• Equipment Installation and MaintenanceInstall, maintain, and repair machinery to ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshooting and RepairsDiagnose mechanical issues and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Preventative MaintenanceConduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to optimize equipment longevity and reliability.
• Blueprint Reading and FabricationInterpret technical blueprints to fabricate or modify equipment as needed.
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic SystemsTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to support seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Minimum: Trade Certification as a Licensed Industrial Mechanic.
  • Preferred: Additional Welding Certification.
• Experience:
  • Minimum: 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in sawmill operations or similar production environments.
• Certifications:
  • Minimum: Licensed Industrial Mechanic.
  • Preferred: Specialized certifications in hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
