Job Description

At FLINT, we are a leading provider of industrial solutions. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, we have built a reputation for excellence in our field. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Millwrights to join our team for a 1-week project-based contract in Fo Creek, AB. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy short-term assignments, this is an excellent opportunity for you.This project is expected to start in September, running for one week.Camp accomodation is available, and bussing is provided between the camp and the job site. If you are a skilled Millwright looking for project-based work and an opportunity to contribute to industrial projects, we want to hear from you. What would you be doing

  • Read diagrams and schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts.
  • Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings to ensure precise tolerances.
  • Align and test equipment and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Assemble all machinery and equipment by bolting, welding, riveting, or fastening them to pre-built foundations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance once the machines and equipment are put into operation.
  • Complete all paperwork as required.
Does this sound like you
  • Journeyperson Millwright certificate would be preferred.
  • ValidWHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space, and Fall Protection tickets are required.
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
