Job Description

For more than 40 years MSA Insulating has been known in the Fraser Valley for its expertise and service in the insulation business. Family owned and professionally managed, we have the people, expertise, equipment and contacts to cover all of our customers insulation needs. Residential, commercial or agricultural, new builds or retrofits, we are here to offer our customer timely, high quality service with integrity.We are currently hiring for Project Coordinator/Office Administrator, the role involves:

  • Provide customer service in assisting and answering all customers inquiries in person, by email, and over the phone for new projects and existing projects.
  • Scheduled and organized sub-contractors on site based on project requirements and timeline.
  • Communicate with customer’s site supervisor, project manager, sub-contractor, home owner, regarding projects requirements and timeline.
  • Assist in provide a quote and prepare an estimate/proposal and submittal to customers.
  • Calculate material needed and organize material delivery to job sites accordingly.
  • Work with Project Manager in ensuring that all aspect of the project is covered accordingly.
  • Organized and summarized all work order for sub-contractors, material used, and provide job costing for each ongoing project prior to billing.
  • Prepare billing and provide office administration support in processing accounts payable, preparing statutory declaration, remittance to WorkSafe BC, and all documents required for sub-contractors reporting.
  • Other administration responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
  • Detail oriented, organized, good work ability with number is an asset
  • Dispatching and project coordinating experience is an asset
  • Experience with customer service is an asset
  • Experience with Sage 50 Accounting, PlanSwift, On-Screen, and other Take Off applications is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
