Job Description

Confederation Park, Canadian Tire is looking for a part time Hardware Department Associate. Reporting to the Hardware Supervisor, your ability to consistently identify customer requirements will be demonstrated through appropriate product recommendations. Challenge your generalquot;handy quot; abilities/interests and join our team today! A good summer opportunity for a high school or university student, Must have open availability. Must be able to lift 60lbs, and climb a 6ft ladder. Must have covid shots.This position offers competitive compensation in a friendly work environment. The Hardware Department Team Member will be responsible for:

  • Displaying natural, excellence in customer service
  • Stock and reposition shelves within the Hardware Department as required
  • Know the store, departments, and product availability to efficiently respond to customer inquiries regardless of location within the store
  • Provide insightful input to ordering based on customer demands within the Hardware Department.

  • Physical ability to lift 40 Lbs. independently
