That #39;s why we need you to complete our CH146 full flight simulator maintenance team at 403Sqn in Gagetown, New Brunswick.In this role you will expected to:- As part of a team carry out preventive and corrective maintenance (hardware and software), and operational support, as detailed in the quality and maintenance documents, to achieve required availability and reliability on training devices- Debug and troubleshoot complex problems spanning a wide range of technologies including, but not limited to: Electrical, computer systems, networking, audio/video distribution, avionics systems, hydraulics system and visual projection systems- Perform pre-flight and post flight on designated simulators.- Learn and comply with CAE quality management system and local health and safety requirements.- Ability to travel and work shift/overtime when needed- Perform tasks to support the technical services group as requiredYour Profile:- 2-year technical degree or 4 years in an electronic, avionic, or technical related field- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and be a dynamic team player- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules- Proficiency in operating test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.)- Computer literate (PC and/or computer mainframe/architecture)- Strong knowledge of English, read, written and spoken- MANDATORY: Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid Work Permit- MANDATORY: Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods Clearance and a Government of Canada security clearanceDesirable qualifications include:- Understanding of aircraft terminology and simulation devices- Ability to interpret schematics and other technical documents- Experience on flight training devices- Experience in military environment- Experience in material controlWhat we have to offer- Benefits: fully flexible for you to choose what is important- Retirement: Defined Benefits Pension Planamp; Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)- Financial Perks: Employee Stock Purchase Planamp; numerous corporate discounts- Personal and Family Programs: Physical Wellness PlansDoes this sound like an interesting challenge for you If so, we look forward to receiving your application.#LI-MC1Position TypeRegularCAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
