Job Description

Position Summary Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position as a Dual Surveillance Supervisor is responsible for monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras and maintaining visual records. Ensures adherence to the Company #39;s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian #39;s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Key Accountabilities

  • Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalents transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
  • Supervise other surveillance personnel during their shift
  • Maintains logs and records; storing records for evidence purposes
  • Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on conditions of surveillance facilities and equipment
  • Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Builds strong working relationships
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Post secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience; experience in security or surveillance an asset
  • Responsible Liquor Service Certification ( e.g., Serving it Right Certification)
  • Computer proficiency
  • Keen eye for detail, with the ability to focus on monitors for long periods of time
  • Adherence to high standards, methods, and procedures
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Work Environment Considerations
  • Regular office environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances, some travel may be required
