Minnow Aquatic Environmental Services, a division of Trinity Consultants, is a leader in environmental consulting services, specializing in aquatic sciences, geosciences, and water resources engineering. We are a multidisciplinary team with expertise in aquatic chemistry, geochemistry, hydrogeology, aquatic biology, aquatic ecology, aquatic toxicology, environmental permitting, and environmental statistics. Our focus is on serving the Canadian natural resource sector with offices in Georgetown ON, Guelph ON, Saskatoon SK, Sparwood BC, and Victoria BC. Minnow is a growing division with a client-centered focus on high quality service delivery. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Business Development Coordinator.The Business Development Coordinator will assist senior technical staff in multiple offices with business development initiatives and serve as a point person to coordinate, organize, and implement sales and marketing campaigns. Specific duties will include:Working with technical staff and the corporate marketing department on the development, execution, and assessment of marketing and sales initiatives;Working with technical staff and the corporate marketing department on the development of sales collateral, website content, and social media;Managing client/prospect data and sales opportunities in our Customer Relationship Management system;Managing conference planning, key event tracking, and the development of strategic client-engagement plans;Assisting with proposal preparation and the management and improvement of all proposal support materials;Conducting market research/benchmarking for new services; andAssisting with administrative support (data management, formatting, and compilation of technical reports, copying and filing of reports).The successful candidate will have post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or business administration and 1 to 5 years of practical experience, ideally in a professional services firm. General knowledge and experience in environmental consulting is an asset. Key attributes will include ability to work confidently in a technical environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, creativity, exceptional organizational skills, an eye for detail, experience in developing high quality marketing material using a variety of software applications including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel, and the ability to follow corporate standards.
