DescriptionPioneer Hi-Bred Production Company, a division of Corteva Agriscience, is seeking hard working, motivated, and independent co-op students for the position of Research Assistant – Canola Doubled Haploid located in Caledon, Ontario. Canola is a high-quality rapeseed used especially for its "healthy" oil and one of the major oilseed crops in Canada and Europe. The successful candidate will be part of a highly successful and motivated multi-disciplinary group involved in canola improvement. This position will be involved primarily in canola doubled haploid (DH) production and research activities to regenerate doubled haploid plants from isolated immature pollens.This role is an 8-month work term (preferable) or 4-month work term (acceptable).ResponsibilitiesHow will you help us grow It matters to us, and it matters to you.
