Employment OpportunitySheridan Nurseries Glen Williams Farm is actively searching for:Christmas Décor Assemblers(General Labour)Seasonal, Full TimeAbout the Job:We have an immediate need for general labourers with full-time availability to fill seasonal positions in Georgetown, Ontario. These positions involve repetitive work in assisting with the mass production of decorative Christmas urns. This is a temporary contract position with an expected duration of 4 weeks and a start date of October 18, 2021. Must be able to work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment. Will require full-time availability for the duration of the contract term, up to 6 days per week (Monday-Saturday).Your Accountabilities:

  • Assistance with the mass production of decorative Christmas urns, including soil, cut branching, ribbon, and decorative picks.
  • Communicating effectively for job requirements and safety.
  • Meeting daily targets for quality and productivity.
  • Supporting other work crews as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Requires your own transportation arrangements to and from the Nursery.
  • Effective time management, with the ability to adapt as situations require.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • You are punctual and dependable, and highly value honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
  • This job requires the ability to stand for the duration of the shift, and may also include extended periods of walking, bending, or squatting at various times. The ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions and environments is also a requirement of the job.
