Job Description

Attention CNC Machine Operators !We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled CNC Machine Operator. The ideal candidate for this position should have experience with CNC machinery, including the ability to use various types of codes and applications. Responsibilities will include running the CNC machine, keeping it maintained and troubleshooting any system failures that may occur. This position is full-time, available immediately, and a competitive salary will be offered.Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines in a Manufacturing Plant
  • Read blueprints and diagrams, and program the machine to produce parts to specifications.
  • Set up and use hand and power tools, bench grinders and cutting equipment.
  • Use basic math skills to calculate machine settings.
  • Stay at your workstation while machines do all of the work for you
  • Shift schedule available Days 07.00 am-3 pm, Afternoons 3.30pm-11.30pm and Nights 11.30 pm-07.00 am
  • Assist the supervisor during the shift in programming and operating the machine
  • Ensure that the workplace is safe for peers and the environment.
  • Opportunity to learn to read drawings, BOM, as supplied in shop floor documents
  • Knowledge of and follow preventative maintenance procedures such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, replacing parts and tooling as necessary
