Job Description

Our Georgetown location is looking to hire a Full Time Yard Manager.We offer a competitive wage, employee benefits for full time employees with an added benefit of employee pricing!Job Duties:Administration

  • Work with Branch manager for staffing and budgets
  • Co-ordinate the schedules for all yard employees
  • Employee relations to coach and mentor staff
  • Co-ordinate equipment maintenance
  • Ensuring our compliance of H&S and policies are followed at all times by staff
Yard and Warehouse duties
  • Managing and performing all aspects of the yard functions including receiving, yard setup and customer service functions
  • Ensure proper housekeeping protocol to protect product and ensure health and safety along with a presentable yard to our customers
  • Managing all of the yard employees which includes task assignment
  • Providing and maintaining exceptional customer service standards
  • Oversee inventory control
  • Training of employees
  • Backup to Shipper position to Prioritize and set delivery schedules and organize loads to be built
  • Maintaining and ensuring valid training and certification of all employees and equipment
  • Equipment operation as needed
  • Perform yard duties as backup when necessary
