The Jurassic Forest and Learning Centre is an outdoor active learning park located just minutes north of Edmonton, Alberta. Opened in July 2010 Jurassic Forest is Canada’s largest animatronic dinosaur park, with trails set on 40 acres of old growth forest. Open seasonally from May to October, Jurassic Forest welcomes visitors of all ages to experience prehistory like never before.To help execute some exciting changes to our facility, labourers will work in a team to get the job done safely, on time, and to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working long hours in an outdoor setting, and ready to do demanding physical work including heavy lifting. Positive-minded and adaptable, these team-players will be ready to hit the ground running each and every day.Main Labourer Responsibilities: · Report to the General Manager and Facility Operations Manager· Perform physical and manual labour.· Run small equipment and use hand tools.· Follow safety protocols.· Contribute positively to the team and project.· Complete other tasks as required.Labourer Requirements: · Strong communication skills and ability to learn.· Ability to safely operate a bobcat is an asset.· Positive attitude and ability to solve problems.· A minimum of 2 years general labourer or related experience.Position Details: · Full-time position starting immediately· Access to reliable transportation necessary due to the facility being located outside of city limits.Only qualified applicants will be contacted by Jurassic Forest for an interview.
