This customer-facing role has the crucial responsibility of making our passengers feel safe and secure as they travel from coast to coast.Job responsibilities:

• Ensure safety and security of the terminal and onboard vessels
• Act as a visible security deterrence
• Communicate with members of the public to provide direction and/or service
• Provision of excellence in customer service
• Unlock/lock up checks and related security procedures
• Communications, including radio, digital and incident escalations
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards

What you bring:

• BC Security License
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable with radio communication
• Ability to write reports on job-related activities
• Comfort working independently and in varying weather conditions
• Physically capable of standing and walking for a duration of 8 hours

Flexible Availability:

• Full Time, Part Time and On-call
• Overnights and Days
• Weekends
