Job Description

Clearwater Seafoods LP is currently seeking a General Laborer to join its Sanitation team at Highland Fisheries in Glace Bay, NS.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position is assigned to the Sanitation Crew and is responsible for ensuring sanitation activities are completed as assigned and in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional reliability;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work flexible hours if required;
  • Ability to work in cool wet environment;
  • Must be able to lift and bend with weights of up to 10 lbs;
  • Experience working in a plant environment would be an asset;
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in team setting or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and accept additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Covid Vaccination Status - must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as per Company Policy.
HOURS OF WORK:
  • Evening/Night Shift depending on production
