Job Description

Front Desk Agent position at Cedar Lodge Motel. Hospitality experience is an asset. Computer knowledge is a must. Applicant must be flexible and work well in a customer service environment. This position includes working weekdays, weekends and holidays. 15-20 hours per week. Willing to take more hours if needed. Please apply by email or in person. Goderich Resident preferred.Responsibilities:

  • To provide courteous and professional guest services
  • To check-in and check-out guests
  • Balance a cash float at the end of each shift
  • Answer the phone in the prescribed manner and redirect the calls
  • Ensuring that work space and office are always clean and tidy
  • Ensure the pool house on the facility is clean, maintained and supervised, including pool chemicals are in line with health and safety protocols
  • Ensure linen is laundered and folded
  • Assigning housekeeping staff rooms to clean, including performing quality checks on rooms after they are cleaned
  • Ensure the entire facility is well supervised and guests requests are attended to in a timely fashion
  • Other general duties as required by the role and as may be assigned.
