The Municipalityoffers its residents an excellent quality of life within small urban centres and ruralsettings near a wide array of urban services and opportunities.The Chief Administrative Officer is the senior staff person, who will lead a skilled staffteam in implementing Council’s directions and be the primary policy advisor and link toCouncil. The CAO will be a dynamic and progressive manager, who inspires a strongteam approach and who is an outstanding listener and communicator. The ability tomotivate diverse groups of people to achieve common goals on behalf of the communitywill be a key capacity. Evident management skills in identifying, analyzing, andresolving complex opportunities and challenges, and in establishing strategic directionsand performance measurement strategies for the Municipality are essential for success.The ideal candidate will have a University degree or equivalent College diploma inBusiness or Public Administration, Finance, Management, or related discipline, with tenyears of supervisory and managerial level experience that clearly demonstratesleadership success within multidisciplinary teams and working within complex businessenvironments.
