Job Description

Job DescriptionScott Steel Erectors Inc., - Hamilton, Ontario is an industry leader in Pre-Engineered Building Erection. We supply and erect quality building packages to anywhere in North America. We maintain our company motto of Quality, Schedule and Cost encompassed in a strong safety culture.Position: QAQC AdministratorJob Location: Gogamo, Ontario - Cote Gold MineFull Time, Contract Position This position is responsible for the quality assurance and quality control procedures used throughout the company.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain QAQC System as per Scott Steel Erectors, Inc., Pre-engineered Building Systems QAQC manual, and as per project / client reporting requirement
  • Administer the inspection and test plans and devise ITP’s as required according to project specifications
  • Observe, inspect and document In-process installations and final installation, and verify compliance to installation specifications and design
  • Produce documents as required to satisfy all QAQC reporting requirements for the project
  • Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventative actions
  • Investigate non-conforming issues and coordinate information flow as per project organization plan
  • Participate in on-site safety meetings and be a leader of initiatives
  • Other duties & assistance as directed
Location Details:
  • Gogama, Ontario - The Côté Gold Project is located in the Chester and Yeo Townships, District of Sudbury, in northeastern Ontario. It is approximately 20 km southwest of Gogama, 130 km southwest of Timmins, and 200 km northwest of Sudbury, roughly 5 km west of Highway 144.
  • Shift- 14/14 rotating shift – 10 Hour Shift Daily
  • Must have your own basic PPE including a hard hat – visible Vest and approved steel toed work boots.
  • Travel and accommodation is provided – The project site is a dormitory style camp complex. Meals are provided
  • Bus Stop available in Timmins or Sudbury – buses will transport employees to site
COVID-19 tests and protocols are in place at site. Employees will complete a Covid-19 questionnaire.
