Job Description

Caron Equipment Inc. is seeking a full time dependable skilled laborer and some experience on Heavy Equipment to join our team with arange of experience for the IAm Gold operation near Gogama and surrounding Timmins area. The ideal skilled laborer must bewilling to expand their skill set and increase their level of expertise.Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all training required for Heavy Equipment Operators
  • A detailed understanding of mining and /or industrial and /or civil construction methods
  • Ensuring clean and safe worksites
  • Providing assistance with heavy machinery
  • Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up
  • Obeying health and safety codes, as well as the company policies
  • Ability to work on rotating shifts, days and nights.
  • Ability to work extended hours
  • Ability to take instruction from Superiors
Requirements:
  • Related experience within the mining, construction or industrial sector would be an asset
  • Valid Driver’s license, A safe driving record is required for this position
  • Adhere to all safety, health and environment policies and procedures
  • Identify and report hazardous or unsafe areas
  • Work as a supportive team member
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to build good, respectful working relationships
  • Level of experience Preferred – 1+ Years
