Job Description

College of the Rockies serves the communities of the East Kootenays. We welcome you to be part of our College community of employees who are Rocky Mountain Inspired, Small College Proud.Campus Manager, Golden, BCRegular Full TimeResponsibilities: You will be the leader of the College #39;s proven team of educators and support staff within the Golden region. You will be responsible for all aspects of operations, human resources, marketing, student experience and budgeting in collaboration with other departmental managers, deans and department heads. Your role will include:

  • Managing all aspects of Golden campus operations, in consultation with core departments to support high levels of service, including managing the campus team, overseeing campus programs, program delivery, registration, marketing and access to facilities and services in the Golden area.
  • Engaging with industry partners, small business, government, First Nations and non-profit stakeholders within the community to identify and respond to training and education needs; Collaboratively developing programs and proposals with College deans and other managers to meet community needs
  • Leading individuals and teams to deliver quality and cost-effective educational programming and services.
You will be an integral member of the community, serving clients of the College whether they be individuals looking to further their education or organizations seeking training and education for their employees. You will ensure the College maintains a high profile in the community, acting as an ambassador for College of the Rockies as a whole and clearly articulating local educational and training needs so that the Golden area is well served by the College of the Rockies.Qualifications: A Bachelor #39;s degree in relevant area; an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered. A proven record of leadership in business, and experience in an academic setting is ideal. Advanced interpersonal, communication, operations and budgeting skills are necessary as are a demonstrated commitment to community partnership and an entrepreneurial orientation.
