Painter/Plasterer, Temporary Full-Time,Engineering and Support Services, Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-WindsorDefinition of work:The Painter/Plasterer performs painting and plastering work in the maintenance and new construction of building structures, equipment and furnishings within Central Health facilities. Primary duties will involve plastering, preparing surfaces for applying paint, the ability to erect scaffolding, proper maintenance of tools, coordinate work orders with other trade workers, and any other duties as assigned. The successful applicant is responsible for the utilization of proper methods, materials and tools used for maintaining buildings, surroundings and equipment; also ensures proper storage of hazardous materials. The successful candidate must demonstrate an awareness of and be responsible for promoting and supporting person-and family-centred care, demonstrate a commitment to safety and partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks and implementing improvements.Required qualifications:
