Typically, the incumbent will complete new installations, perform alterations to existing building systems and components, complete material take-offs and requisition supplies. The incumbent will work with other skilled trades staff to perform duties in all trade areas with a focus on plumbing and complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor. This job will look after schools in the Central, Baie Verte and South coast areas.Requirements:- High School diploma, or equivalent - Journeyperson’s Certificate (Red Seal) issued by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador (Plumbing) - WHMIS 2015 Certificate - Must have experience in commercial building construction and maintenance - Must possess strong organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities - Must have a valid Class five (5) driver’s license - Training in First Aid and/or other safety-related courses would be considered an asset.NAPE Master Salary Scale (CG-29): $25.51 - $28.33.The NL English School District is committed to employing a diverse workforce and encourages all qualified applicants to apply.
