Landscape Gardener Position at Tangled Garden Job briefTangled Garden is looking for a Gardener to help us keep the 3 acre garden weed-free and beautiful. Gardener responsibilities include watering plants, weeding gardens, adding compost to beds, and mowing lawns. Knowledge of light equipment (including mowers/trimmers) while following health and safety regulations is an asset or be willing to learn.Requirements

• A love of the outdoors and plant life
• Gardening experience an asset
• Knowledge of regional plant life an asset
• The ability to lift heavy objects
• The ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time (rain or shine)
• Must be physically fit
• Attention to detail
• A great team player

Responsibilities

• Planting seasonal plants
• Mow, trim and edge spaces
• Mulch, edge and weed gardens
• Feel comfortable using light machinery, like mowers, trimmers, etc
• Monitor the health of plants
• Harvesting seasonal fruit and herbs
• Pruning fruit trees

Position

• 8 hours a day for 5 days a week
• $15/hr
• Starting at the beginning of May until the end of October 2021 (with an opportunity to maintain this seasonal position for the following year(s).
