Job Description

We are a global organization focused on working together with a team spirit.In your role, you will- Take ownership of technical problem solving with support from other departments;- Provide technical support to the day-to-day operations of the production department;- Investigate root causes of problems and analyze potential solutions by evaluating the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production;- Be on the lookout for ways to improve manufacturing and fabrication strategies and take part in research and development projects;- Define, validate and correct assembly or repair and/or manufacturing specifications for the production of aircraft components;- Interpret or approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;- Define the tools required for the manufacturing or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerances;- Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies by working closely with the engineering, material logistics, quality and production departments;- Ensure feasibility and plan changes requested by production and customers;Identify opportunities to eliminate non-value added by optimizing production.As our ideal candidate- You have a technical college degree and/or equivalent experience;- You have experience in the manufacturing and aeronautical field (an asset) 3 to 5 years;- You are comfortable reading technical drawings, have a good 3D visualization and an analytical mind;- You have a developed logical sense and a mechanical mind;- You have an excellent team spirit, you are known for your perseverance and your judgment;- You are innovative and have a good decision-making process;- You have a strong customer focus and good interpersonal skills;- You are familiar with computer aided design software such as Catia, Enovia..;- You are familiar with one or more Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software- You are fluent in French, both orally and in writing;Bombardier is an equal opportunity employer and encourages persons of any race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age immigration status, disability or other applicable legally protected Characteristics to apply.We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
