Job Description

ChampionX has an immediate need for an entry level Sales Representative located in Grande Prairie AB.As a District Rep, you will be assigned to strategic accounts in the oilamp; gas industry where you are responsible for independently developing and maintaining relationships to ensure exceptional customer support. ​What You Will Do:
  • Provide exceptional service to current and future customers.
  • Recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned customer territory.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives.
  • Generate and execute sales plans in assigned customer base and new customer accounts to meet defined territory profit increase goals.
  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer concerns, escalating as required.
  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.
  • build long-term relationships with a large customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies
  • Travel required to support business requirements and training opportunities.
Position Details:
  • Candidate must reside in Grande Prairie AB.
  • Route territory will include Grande Prairie AB and the surrounding area.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent preferred but not required (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (Class 5) and acceptable driver #39;s abstract.
  • Strong computer application literacy (including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently andbuild relationships with customers.
Physical Demands:
  • Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
  • Must have the ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • This is a safety sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete drug and alcohol testing in alignment with ChampionX policy
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Previous experience working in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • History of working autonomously in the field and ability to demonstrate self-motivation
  • Ability to learn internal business systems.
  • Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic.
