• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Or equivalent experience.

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.On the road: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.Responsibilities:Tasks:

• Professionalism in customer service.
• Load and unload goods.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
• Complete logbooks and reports.

Credentials:Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses:

• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
• Driver #39;s License (Class 1 or A).

Experience and specialization:Documentation knowledge:

• Driver logbook.
• Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).
• Maintenance and repair reports.

Transportation/travel experience:

• Long-haul.

Area of specialization:

• Truck driving.

• Professional training.
