Rentco #39;s Tool Shed (a division of Rentco Equipment Ltd.) is a local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for over 60 years. They provide the tools and equipment to complete home-owner repairs and maintenance. Rentco #39;s Tool Shed is also aquot;go-to quot; place in Grande Prairie for event rentals and Stihl and Husqvarna tools.We are currently looking for a seasonal full-time Front Counter Equipment Rental Representative (until the end of August).As the Front Counter Equipment Rental Representative you are responsible for:

• Assisting customers in-store and over the phone by providing information about our equipment and stock
• Processing customer rentals and purchases
• Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge
• Participating in merchandizing and promotional activities
• Preparing detailed invoices and customer statements
• Creating work orders for damaged or deficient equipment
• Verifying received shipments by checking order against shipping documents and notify Manager of any discrepancies and omissions
• Keeping shelf selection areas stocked and clean and orderly

You have the following skills and abilities:

• Previous experience in the rental industry or proven knowledge of yard and home maintenance equipment
• Ability to work full-time until August, including weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday
• Excellent customer skills
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate computer skills, including programs Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and the ability to learn our internal software
