- (2312611)The Opportunity: As a Lead in our Asset Integrity team at Canadian Natural you will oversee and mentor a team of field-based Asset Integrity Technologists, Technicians, and Pipeline Leak Detection Specialists. You will lead projects and oversee operations for our diverse Upstream field assets with a significant focus on safety, compliance, and reliability. You will utilize your management skillset to develop your team, encouraging engagement and continuous improvement of current processes. In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on Canadian Natural’s operations by driving change and creating an environment of empowerment in the field. Key Accountabilities:Manage a team of field engineersamp; technologists with a focus on focus on the consistent execution of Asset Integrity programs to ensure integrity risks are proactively identified and effective mitigation plans are in place Ensure high levels of engagement and communication with area operations staff to ensure a strong understanding of the specific responsibilities which support Canadian Natural’s Asset Integrity Programs Provide direction and support to ensure the team meets performance targets and Asset Integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Pipeline groups to ensure effective and efficient execution of maintenance programs, including:Pipeline and pressure equipment inspections Pipeline and equipment repairs Plant turnarounds Long-range risk management planningLiaise with regulatory authorities, integrity vendors, engineering contractors, and inspection contractors to manage integrity related issuesOther Details:Job location: Grande Prairie, Alberta Shift schedule: 5x2 - Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day Eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Regular Policy Competitive salary, stock options, stock savings plan and benefits This is a safety sensitive positionSkillsamp; Qualifications:7+ years of field based Asset Integrity experience Leadership or supervisory experience in either a team or project based environment Engineering Degree or an Engineering Technical Diploma is an asset Registration or eligibility for registration with APEGA or ASET, is an assetWhy Canadian Natural CANADIAN NATURAL is a senior independent crude oil and natural gas exploration, development and production company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
