Job Description

Director, Organizational DevelopmentAt Irving Consumer Products, we recognize that the key to our success is our people. We also manufacture private label diapers and training pants for North American retailers.The Director, Organizational Development will be based out of Dieppe, New Brunswick (100 Midland Drive, E1A 7G9) and is responsible for leading the people development and organizational development strategies to enable growth of our employees and of the organization. This position provides leadership in managing innovative Human Resources strategies and will play a key role in assessing current and future state talent needs while recommending optimizations to organizational structure and determining development activities. This is a permanent, full-time position.   • Bachelor #39;s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 12+ years #39; of relevant experience
  • Proven track record of learning Organizational Development initiatives
  • Effective at leading change through influence
  • Strong customer focus and results oriented
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Coaching education and experience
  • Familiarity with HR systems, including learning management systems
  • Project management experience, preferred
The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:
  • Lead organizational development initiatives, projects, and programs to build capacity and effectiveness across all manufacturing facilities and with our corporate group
  • Work closely with the VP of HR to build the talent pipelines and succession plans from emerging, established, and executive talent
  • Consult with stakeholders to assess needs and offer recommended solutions to challenges
  • Facilitate team performance improvement and associated change initiatives
  • Partner with Human Resource Business Partners to coach people leaders on building and deploying development programs that deliver sustainable results
  • Oversee and assist the HR teams with any new technology implementation and optimization for development practices
