Job Description

Recruitment CoordinatorAt Irving Tissue, we recognize that the key to our success is our people. We also manufacture private label diapers and training pants for North American retailers.Working as a part of the Human Resources team in Dieppe, New Brunswick, this position will focus on recruitment activities and will include exposure to other HR related functions as well. The successful candidate will support the Manager, Recruitment and the Strategic Recruitment Partners in managing student and pipeline recruitment, as well as assisting in the full-cycle of salaried recruitment.Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Undergrad in Business Administration; An HR Major or Concentration would be considered an asset
  • Years of Experience Required:lt;2 years
  • Self-starter, attention to detail, punctual, consistent, and flexible to changing tasks
  • Goal oriented, demonstrate initiative, and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent typing abilities
  • Experience with an ATS system (Taleo) would be considered an asset
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment for student positions
  • Support full-cycle recruitment for salary and hourly positions
  • Build pipelines in preparation for future vacancies
  • Manage the recruitment process and all communications effectively to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Build and strengthen educational institution partnerships to facilitate student recruitment. Including arrangement of campus recruitment events
  • Collect feedback on recruitment events to continuously improve and develop a robust student pipeline
  • Implement various sourcing strategies including social media and in-person communications for challenging roles
  • Responsible for driving a variety of recruitment projects to gain efficiencies and consistency in our processes. Ex. moving to online testing, outsourcing reference checks, infographics etc.
