Job Description

  • PART-TIME CONTRACT POSTION
  • Required to work nights, mornings, evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Offers superior customer service to all guests, ensuring all inquires are handled during the shift
  • Complete the guest services AM or PM checklist accurately during your shift
  • Make note of any special requests and inform housekeeping (late check-outs, early check-ins, cots, cribs etc).
  • Reservations to be resolved during shift and all phone inquiries and reservations to be handled appropriately
  • Must understand and manage the PMS system
  • High degree of professionalism and dedication
  • Process all reservations coming in by phone and email during your shift
  • Ensure the accuracy of the accounts and transactions made with the customers
  • Responsible for the order and cleanliness of the front desk and adjacent work areas.
  • Resolve guest issues quickly, efficiently, courteously and professionally.
  • Verify banks and deposits each shift and follow all cash-handling and credit policies.
  • Maintain room key control
  • Record guest comments/ complaints, ensure guest satisfaction by handling guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner or refer guests to a manager as necessary.
  • Review daily functions/meetings taking place in the hotel. Make sure lobby area is tidy – no garbage, etc lying around.
  • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager/Front Office Manager
