The Riverine Retirement and Independent Living is looking for a Resident Care Attendant to join our team.QUALIFICATIONS:1. Must consistently demonstrate support of the homes Mission and Values.2. Experience with Medication Administration, medication administration course considered an asset.3. Successful applicant must have the ability to fulfill the job expectations and responsibilities as set out in the Resident Care Attendant job description. Evaluate staff performance to ensure efficiency.4. Ability to work hours as scheduled and availability for all shifts.5. Ability to perform duties in accordance with the Retirement Home Regulatory Act and policies and procedures of the Home.6. Must have genuine interest and ability to work with residents who may have one or a combination of physical limitations, behavioral problems, communicative problems, and/or memory disturbances.7. Must be able to demonstrate ability to positively interact and communicate with residents and visitors of the home.8. Must be able to demonstrate ability to positively interact and communicate with residents, family members, and visitors9. Must have current CPR and First Aid or willingness to obtain immediately.10. Must have effective interpersonal and organization skills and be able to work effectively and efficiently within time constraints.COVID-19 considerations:Must wear surgical mask over nose and mouth while on duty, must adhere to COVID protocols.
