Job Description

Growing through acquisition and organic growth, E360S provides environmental and waste management solutions to municipalities and commercial customers.Position DescriptionWe currently have an exciting role for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Payroll Clerk.Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with generating and sending customer invoices
  • Posting customer payments to accounts
  • Processing credit card and auto withdrawal payments
  • Preparation of daily bank deposits
  • Electronic filing of AR documents
  • Reconciliation and review of customer accounts
  • Ensure payroll compliance with applicable legislation and payroll and benefits policies, programs, and practices
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities, reconciliations, reporting, etc.
  • Support integration of acquired companies into the payroll system to ensure a seamless transition
  • Assess and resolve escalated payroll issues and discrepancies
  • Process payroll on a biweekly basis to salaried, union, and non-union employees
  • Process special runs as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years accounts receivable/payroll experience
  • Previous participation in implementing and roll-out of payroll systems
  • Demonstrated experience with improving payroll processes and business efficiencies
  • Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Experience with Quickbooks software would be an asset
  • Knowledge in all Microsoft Office Programs (including, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in the transportation or waste industry considered an asset
