Job Description

Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO)Anywhere in Canada (Remote/Virtual)Today is the day to boost your career! Pinchin is seeking an Alternate Company Security Officer to join our Procurement and Administration team.Reporting to the Procurement and Administration Manager, the Alternate Company Security Officer will be responsible for the maintenance of employee and organization security clearances and will provide efficient support to ensure compliance with Company, Government and Client security requirements.A Day in the life of a Pinchin ACSO:Review client and individual project security requirements. Provide clearance reports, support documentation and ACSO approvals as required to confirm eligibility to proceedMaintain organizational clearances. Submit required status documents, report corporate/employee changes and security incidents to applicable security divisionsCoordinate all security clearance applications for Pinchin personnel. Confirm employee requirements and generate required applications. Review, verify and submit completed application packages. Confirm results and obtain briefing certificates/release documents as required. Process clearance terminations as requiredDetermine Sub-Contractor/Vendor security compliance requirements. Coordinate distribution and submission of applications, confirm results and notify Clients/Project ManagersSafeguard personnel security screening files according to provincial and federal laws maintaining employee confidentialityProduce clearance status reports, proof of clearances, details and instructions for all types of security application processes and track all security clearance application and resultsProvide support to Vendor Onboarding: process vendor requests, certificates of insurance, WSIB/WCB clearances, sub-agreements and renewalsWhat you bring to the Pinchin team:A College Diploma in business administration or a related subject is preferred; however, a combination of education and experience with the proven ability to perform the job tasks may be acceptedRequired: Eligible to obtain and maintain PSPC Level II (Secret) Clearance as well as additional ACSO Clearances as required (OPP, RCMP, etc.)Required: Ability to complete and maintain certification in the PSPC Controlled Goods Designated Official Certification ProgramPreferred: At least three years of experience in a company security role acting in the capacity of ACSO or CSO.
