Job Description

Anmar Mechanical and Electrical Contractors Ltd. is hiring an AZ Truck Driver!The Position: The Truck Driver will be responsible for all local and out of town deliveries using any and all Anmar owned, leased or rented transport trucks. The Truck Driver will be solely responsible for the maintenance of the truck(s), and must be capable of loading and strapping down loads where required. While not driving, the truck driver will be expected to assist with general duties in Anmar’s warehouse and yard.The ideal candidate will have:

  • strong desire to do hands on work
  • strong communication skills
  • commitment to health & safety
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years transport driving experience (long-haul not required)
  • Valid AZ licence or equivalent, with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of MTO requirements including weight and dimension limits.
  • Superior knowledge of all CVOR related legislations including Hours of Work and Duty Status Logbook requirements.
  • Experience with and willing to load trucks, operating a forklift or other equipment as required.
  • Must be experienced in tying down and/or strapping down loads including structural steel.
  • Ability to attach and change out trailers.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
