To learn more, please visit: https://NFP.ca.The Role at NFPWe’re looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to interact with our small business clients on a day-to-day basis while developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives. They will independently prepare applications, specifications and marketing strategy for new business as well as the renewals of an assigned book of business with some degree of supervision and approval from the Commercial Lines Manager. More specifically, the AM will:Deliver extraordinary value to our clients by identifying exposures, determining the appropriate solutions to those exposures and advising the customer of why the solutions are the best fit for them.Provide professional and prompt customer service including phone and email inquiries on new and existing client accounts, including client questions on topics such as coverage, billing, reporting of claims, audits, etc.Generate revenue growth opportunities by identifying needs for additional lines of coverage, cross-selling internally to other P&C lines, Group Benefits and Wealth Management departments and generating referrals for new opportunities.Be the lead in maintaining positive, long-term relationships with the clients, insurance carrier representatives and NFP staff.Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:Highly organized with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Self-confident to make sound independent decisions.Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people and function well in a remote team environment autonomously.Customer-focused to establish and maintain effective relationshipsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlinesMust be able to read, analyze and reconcile financial reportsPossess strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSharp attention to detail with excellent decision-making skillsFlexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines and technology.Education and/or Experience:Typically, more than 2 years of industry and product line experience in a broker roleExperience in the placement of small business risks (Contractors, Professional Services, Restaurants, etc.) an assetExcellent computer skills expected and EPIC fluency an assetCertificates, Licenses, Registration:RIBO License in good standing requiredProfessional insurance designation preferred (such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc.)What We OfferA competitive compensation package, group health and dental benefits, flexible leave days, RRSP matching, continuing education, and career development.A Focus on Health & Wellness with an excellent EAP programMotivating work atmosphereStrong relationships with our marketsA global team of insurance experts focused on client retention, growth, industry innovation and teamworkNFP and You...
