Reporting to the Control and Automation discipline lead Engineer, you will support projects globally working from our Sudbury office with opportunities in other Hatch offices and at project job sites.What Will a Career at Hatch Offer You:You will:

• Instrumentation and control system design including development of P&ID’s, architecture diagrams and detailed wiring/schematic drawings
• Communication system design including WLAN, LTE, fibre optic backbones and voice networks
• Development of technical specifications, reports, and construction work packages
• Development of control strategies, PLC programming, implementation on-site and commissioning
• Client engagement on projects, business development to generate work
• Interfacing and collaboration with project team members, clients and vendor.

Education and Experience:

• Must be working towards graduating in 2020, or recently graduated, with a Bachelors of Applied Science, Masters of Applied Science, or Masters of Engineering from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
• Courses in electric circuits, control systems, networking and communications systems
• Previous coop or work terms in controls systems & automation engineering design/execution will be considered an asset
• Good knowledge of control systems and loops, basic circuit theory and communication networks
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
