Job Description

We are always looking for passionate people to join our team!If you are looking for a stimulating career and living environment, MRT is your destination of choice. We are a solid company, with 8 terminals and 2 strategically located transit yards that provide easy access to your home terminal. MRT is currently looking for a G class delivery driver to join our team at our new location in Sudbury.Responsabilities:

  • Perform local pickups and deliveries with a cube truck;
  • Drive forklifts;
  • Unload and/or load trucks;
  • Place merchandise in designated areas;
  • Completing shipping documents;
  • Ensuring the integrity of pallets and other packaging for the shipment of goods;
  • Complete pre-trip inspections and safely operate equipment;
  • Operation of satellite communication equipment;
  • Provide good customer service.
Job requirements:
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Customer service experience;
  • A valid G license, with a clean Drivers Abstract;
  • Experience driving small to mid-sized commercial vehicles;
  • Able to lift 40 – 50 lbs;
  • Disposition for team work;
  • Good knowledge of transportation requirements;
  • Experience in customer service.
