Inventory Clerk–Part-time Temporary (up to December 31, 2021 with possibility of extension)–Recruitment #21-220 (Non-Union)Employment opportunity: Inventory Clerk–Part-time Temporary (up to December 31, 2021 with possibility of extension)–Recruitment #21-220 (Non-Union)Hours of work: up to 35 hours/week – must be willing to work days, evenings and weekendsDivision: School Health, Vaccine Preventable Diseases and COVID PreventionLocation: Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex – 235 Countryside Drive, SudburySalary: $23.30/hourPosition summary:Reporting to the Manager, Logistics and Special Projects, the Inventory Clerk is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team.The incumbent will work collaboratively with agency staff to provide operational support in maintaining inventory records for supplies required for COVID-19 vaccine clinics throughout the districts Public Health Sudbury & Districts serve.Responsibilities:Receive and stock supplies to supply warehousing location(s).Count materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock.Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.Stock and distribute supplies, equipment or merchandise to all scheduled vaccine clinics within the districts that Public Health Sudbury & Districts serve.Maintain and update records.Complete and submit ministry issued supplies worksheets as required.Generate purchase orders for approval and submit to the purchasing team for processing.Requirements:Successful completion of Secondary School (Grade XII) Education.Minimum of 1 year of directly related experience in inventory control.Experience working with computer software and databases in a Microsoft environment (e.g. outlook, word, excel).Experience with a pallet jack considered an asset.Experience working under pressure, managing changing priorities, and a fast-paced environment.Must have strong problem solving, analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must have high attention to detail and be able to work independently and part of a team.Proficiency in English required.Current Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.Send resumés with cover letter to:Human Resources, Corporate Services DivisionPublic Health Sudbury & Districts1300 Paris Street, Sudbury, ON P3E 3A3Email: recruitment@phsd.caPlease include the recruitment number in the subject line.Please include cover letter and resumé in one PDF or Word document.Tel: 705.522.9200, ext. 570Fax: 705.522.5182Application deadline:Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 4:30 p.m.Quick Apply
