Job Description

We are Jak’s Diner a local Sudbury restaurant serving delicious food since 1999. We re-opened under new ownership and are looking to hire a dishwasher/prep cook.Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, both during rush times and while closing the line. These tasks include wiping, sweeping & mopping, deep cleaning, scrubbing and any method necessary to clean things!- Job Description

  • Operate the industrial dishwasher in a safe and timely manner.
  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, following our policies and protocols at all times.
  • Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed (light prep work, portioning, etc.)
  • Perform opening, closing duties.
  • Various cleaning, organizing and hauling tasks as directed by a supervisor.
Applicants must be able to life and manually transport up to 50 lbs, be willing to work in a hot & humid environment and on your feet for 8-hours at a time.COVID-19 considerations:Masks required by staff and customers.
