Job Description

Plumber Foreman/woman Marnoch Facilities Maintenance is a commercial multi-trade contractor and has been in business for over 30 years. We currently have an opening for a full-time Licensed Plumbing Foreman/woman. We are seeking a motivated, professional self-starter interested in joining our growing team!Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
  • Installation of plumbing systems
  • Supervise workers and projects
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Coordinate and schedule activities
  • Professionalism in customer service
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Experience instructing apprentices and supervising other workers
Qualifications:
  • Trade Certification – Class 306A Journeypersons
  • 5 to 7 years of construction experience (Commercial, Industrial, Institutional construction)
  • 1 to 3 years of experience running small to large projects
  • Gas Fitter 1 or 2 would be considered an asset
  • Backflow Prevention certification an asset
Required:
  • Own transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driver’s abstract
  • Tools, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat
  • WHIMIS, Working at Heights, Lift Training, Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness Training
